General description<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
This integrated amplifier operates in Class A and is designed specifically for use with the Western Electric 300B tube. Using a patented system, it delivers more than 20 watts per channel, well above traditional values for this type of amplifier. It features four RCA line inputs, a switchable phono input (MC\/MM) and Bluetooth support. <\/p>\n

A central TFT display shows clear information, and volume control is via a large, precise encoder. Speaker outputs use interchangeable transformer blocks, set at 8 ohms by default, with optional 4 or 16 ohm configurations. <\/p>\n

The parallel-feed circuit reduces hysteresis and contributes to a pure sound. The amplifier features an automatic bias control, which allows the connected 300B tubes to function optimally. This contributes not only to performance but also to tube life. <\/span><\/div>\n

The Western Electric WE 91E is a single-ended tube amplifier based on the classic 1936 91A circuit, designed around the 300B power tube. Jim Kreuz, chief engineer, led the development.
