General description<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
This device supports DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 music files via the USB input, as well as PCM files with sampling rates up to 32-bit\/384kHz, including DXD 352.8kHz and DXD 384kHz. The two optical and two coaxial inputs accept music with resolutions up to 24-bit\/192kHz. A DIN input is provided for future compatibility. Variable balanced and unbalanced audio outputs allow connection to an amplifier. A high-performance headphone jack is available for personal listening. The design includes a glass top panel and aluminum construction. <\/span><\/div>\n

The Wadia di322 is designed with a focus on sonic precision and transparency. Wadia Digital was founded in 1988 in the United States. From the beginning, the brand specialized in digital audio engineering, with a strong focus on precise digital signal processing. Wadia used techniques such as DigiMaster, an algorithm for digital filtering, and discrete components rather than integrated circuits for digital-to-analog conversion. In its early years, Wadia released products such as the Wadia 2000, a digital audio product based on original research into high-end digital processing. A feature of Wadia products was the use of so-called “glass optical” and other digital interconnections for accurate data transfer. In later years, Wadia’s products and technologies were integrated into Audio Research’s lineup and housed within McIntosh Group.
