We think.     \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"specification-item row-header\"><span class=\"spec-content\"><strong>General description<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"specification-item row-even\"><span class=\"spec-content\">The KEF Reference Model One is a three-way floorstanding speaker known for its accurate sound reproduction.  <\/p>\n<p>The design combines a 160 mm Uni-Q driver, which integrates a midrange and tweeter, with an internal 160 mm pulp-conus bass unit.  <\/p>\n<p>This configuration ensures coherent and detailed audio reproduction across the entire frequency range.  <\/p>\n<p>The enclosure is designed to minimize resonances and optimize sound quality.  <\/p>\n<p>With its timeless design and high-quality construction, the KEF Reference Model One is a solid choice for lovers of high-quality audio.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"specification-item row-header\"><span class=\"spec-content\"><strong>Background information<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"specification-item row-even\"><span class=\"spec-content\">The KEF Reference Model One was designed in the 1990s as a high-end three-way floorstander with Uni-Q coaxial driver technology, developed under the direction of Laurie Fincham. The cabinet was internally reinforced for minimal resonance, with carefully selected materials such as solid MDF panels. The internal wiring was of high quality, tuned for maximum transparency. The drivers were hand-matched for optimal performance.   <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"specification-item row-header\"><span class=\"spec-content\"><strong>Brand history<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"specification-item row-even\"><span class=\"spec-content\">KEF was founded in 1961 in Maidstone, Kent, by former BBC ringmaster Raymond Cooke. The name is derived from Kent Engineering &amp; Foundry, the site on which its first headquarters was located. In its early years, the company developed products using synthetic materials and mathematical models. KEF introduced the Reference concept in 1973, where each pair of systems was electronically matched. In the 1980s, KEF used digital technologies to optimize production. In 1988, the first computer-aided acoustic measurement system was used. Uni-Q driver technology was introduced in 1988 and has since been used in several models. KEF has had collaborations with outside designers, including Ross Lovegrove. In 2011, the Blade, the first model based on the single point source concept, was released. KEF has offices worldwide, including Hong Kong, Germany, France, Japan and the US.
