The Klipsch R-820F floorstanding speakers combine sleek design with impressive audio performance. Thanks to exclusive 90\u00b0 x 90\u00b0 Tractrix\u00ae horn technology, the high frequency range is accurately directed to the listener, ensuring clear and dynamic reproduction of both movies and music. The Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) aluminum tweeter minimizes distortion, while the Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) woofers deliver deep and tight bass. The rear-facing Tractrix\u00ae port design optimizes airflow, reducing unwanted turbulence and distortion at low frequencies. The enclosure is made of reinforced MDF, which minimizes vibration and contributes to accurate sound reproduction. With their versatile performance, the R-820F speakers are suitable for a variety of listening environments and music genres. <\/span><\/div>\n

The Klipsch R-820F is designed with Klipsch’s legendary acoustic expertise based on founder Paul W. Klipsch’s philosophy of high efficiency, low distortion and controlled directivity. The speaker uses a 90\u00b0 x 90\u00b0 Tractrix horn, combined with a 1″ aluminum LTS tweeter and two 8″ IMG woofers. The cabinet is made of MDF with scratch-resistant vinyl finish. Klipsch uses internal copper wiring for optimal signal transmission. Designed in Indianapolis, USA. <\/span><\/div>\n
Brand history<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
Klipsch was founded in 1946 by Paul W. Klipsch in Hope, Arkansas. The brand’s first loudspeaker, the Klipschorn, was developed that same year and has remained in continuous production ever since. For decades, Klipsch continued to produce in the original wooden barn, which was later turned into a museum. Over the years, the company expanded its product line to include multiple speaker designs, including floorstanding, bookshelf and recessed models. The brand uses technologies such as tractrix horns and aluminum dome tweeters. In the early 2000s, the headquarters moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. Klipsch still manufactures certain models at the original plant in Hope.
