Heed Audio is a Hungarian company that designs and manufactures high-quality audio equipment. The company has revived the Ion Obelisk, a compact amplifier from the 1980s, by modernizing its design and internal components. In addition, Heed Audio has developed the Elixir integrated amplifier, which combines four main functions: a dedicated output preamplifier, a powerful power amplifier, a phono preamplifier for MM cartridges and a high-quality headphone amplifier. The company uses Transcap technology, a non-direct-coupled amplifier technology that uses an output capacitor to ensure fast and accurate power delivery to the speakers.
