Description Freakuence!

Wow! What a treat again. We asked builder John Eekels if he’d like to come visit us. We’ve had several of his designs in the shop, and the results are stunning. He stopped by and brought this gem with him. The bottom is so clean, so crisp; the middle is so delightful, so genuine… it breathes. The high end is very clear yet distinctly calm. You really get a lot of value for your money here, folks. This is incredibly good.

What exactly do we have? Well, an EL84 Push-Pull music factory. Built from the finest components and materials, including Solid American Walnut cabinet which is glued and milled with handcrafted wood joints, finished in boiled linseed oil (natural product). CNC milled anodized aluminum panels, blind plate tube base mounting (dual chassis design), HQ power transformer and (internal) chokes, i.c.m. ISO (former Tango) made in Japan top High-End output transformers (UGTs). Point to point hardwired soldered design, completely handcrafted. Silver/PTFE (silver-Teflon) wiring is used, for pure high quality connections, low aging and heat resistant. Swiss ceramic NOS silver-plated tube feet, Alps volume potentiometer, and silver contacts NOS HQ input selector switch. No cost or effort.

This amplifier is new. Delivered by John Eekels.

Details

We have it with JJ tubes but also demonstrate with NOS or other high end tubes to show what the amp can do and what the differences are. The price is for the amplifier with JJ tubes.

We are happy to trade on it. Please especially forward what you may have available, we will be happy to assess whether we can put it in the shop.
