The Michi S5 is a stereo power amplifier that delivers 500 watts per channel into 8 ohms and more than 800 watts into 4 ohms. Thanks to its dual monoblock architecture featuring two custom-built 2,200 VA toroidal transformers, the Michi S5 delivers a powerful and controlled soundstage. <\/p>\n

With 32 high-current output transistors and a capacitance of 188,000 \u00b5F, the Michi S5 delivers a dynamic and detailed sound, even with complex musical pieces. Michi is a sub-brand of the Japanese company Rotel, introduced in the 1990s as a range of high-quality audio equipment. The original Michi products, such as the RHC-10 preamplifier and the RHB-10 power amplifier, were characterized by their silver finish and red-colored sides. This line was aimed primarily at the Japanese market, but soon found worldwide success due to its superior audio performance and use of classic Japanese rosewood side panels. After several years, production of the original Michi line was discontinued. In 2019, Rotel revived the Michi brand with the introduction of new models, including the P5 preamplifier, the S5 stereo power amplifier and the M8 monoblock power amplifier.
