Description
Here a sleek and industrial design is combined with a sound that is both powerful and refined. The front panel is dominated old-fashionedly by two analog VU meters and solid rotary knobs. We savor! The wooden side panels add a touch of warmth to the whole. In terms of sound, the ZIA100 offers neutral and transparent reproduction, with impressive detailing and a spacious soundstage. The hybrid technology provides a harmonious balance between analog warmth and digital precision.
This integrated amplifier combines tubes and transistors, with the tube circuits driving the MOSFET transistors in the output stage. The differential input circuits are derived from the Stella and Orion series, with a signal path through minimal components to reduce signal degradation. The output stage uses audio-grade MOSFETs in a Circlotron topology with local current feedback, with each MOSFET having its own power supply. The power transformers are specially manufactured in Italy. With both volume control and adjustable input gain, the output level can be fine-tuned to different sources. The circuit boards comply with ENIG standards and are hand-assembled and tested. The amplifier has three XLR and two RCA inputs, delivers 50 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 100 watts per channel at 4 ohms, and contains four ECC81 and four ECC82 tubes. It measures 45.5 cm wide, 15 cm high and 41.5 cm deep, weighing 33 kg.
