Description
Uber 3-way system, all units of which – even the woofer – is ceramic. Result: extremely easy reproduction of the input. No distortion to speak of, no knocking on your ears, just relaxed and airy listening. The reproduction is clear and detailed, with accurate placement of instruments and voices. The treble is sparkling without sharpness, while the bass remains tight and controlled. The midrange is natural and open, providing a realistic presentation of music.
We are happy to trade on it. Please especially forward what you may have available, we will be happy to assess whether we can put it in the shop.
Heavy and awkward? Ho ho, you can’t just say that! Above average and less manageable, that sounds a little friendlier. Yes, audio can be above average heavy and less manageable, for this reason we have a bus, that is. We can deliver and change, but do not do so GRA-TIS unfortunately. Also, we assume the first floor. Delivery on a floor we are happy to think about, but not about THE RUG of the driver, so don’t just assume this.
The Avalon Opus Ceramique is a floorstanding speaker known for its clear and detailed sound reproduction. With a 3-way system equipped with ceramic drivers for both bass, midrange and treble, this speaker delivers a balanced and dynamic sound. The enclosure has been carefully designed to minimize resonances, contributing to an accurate and natural sound. Suitable for a variety of musical genres, the Opus Ceramique offers an immersive listening experience.
Designed by Neil Patel, the Avalon Opus Ceramique combines an advanced ceramic midrange driver with a precision-tuned bass unit. The cabinet is multilayered with internally damped panels to minimize resonances. The internal wiring consists of specially selected conductor materials for optimal signal transmission. Manufacturing and tuning take place entirely manually in Boulder, Colorado (USA), with components from selected suppliers from Europe and the USA.
Avalon Acoustics was founded in 1986 by Neil Patel. The brand established itself in Boulder, Colorado, United States. From the beginning, Avalon designed and developed products according to acoustic principles and with symmetrical sound structures. Production takes place in-house. This involves the use of custom-made components manufactured specifically for the designs. From the beginning, Avalon emphasized precise assembly and tuning per set. Cabinets are manufactured from composite materials, among other materials, and each product is individually tested before delivery. Avalon uses its own measuring equipment and listening tests for final inspection. Designs by Avalon are geometrically structured, based in part on principles such as the golden section. The technical architecture of each speaker follows an established design model. Each one is built by hand by a small team.
