Description
You don’t notice it until you stop hearing it.
The Genesis Digital Lens is a device designed to improve the sound quality of CDs or dacs by eliminating jitter. It works by buffering the digital signal, removing unnecessary information and then re-clocking it, resulting in a cleaner and more accurate reproduction of music. This leads to a more relaxed and engaged listening experience, with instrumental lines becoming clearer and lyrics more intelligible.
The device was born from a collaboration of Genesis Technologies’ design team, led by high-end audio expert Arnie Nudell. He wanted to create a solution to the timing problems in early CD players and digital sources. The housing is metal with high-quality internal circuitry, and uses a precision clock for optimal signal synchronization.
Genesis developed in the early 1990s under the leadership of Arnie Nudell, co-founder of Infinity Systems. After leaving Infinity, he founded Genesis Technologies, with the goal of designing and manufacturing loudspeaker systems and related products. After Genesis Technologies ceased operations in 2001, the brand was acquired by Gary Leonard Koh in 2002. From then on, the company operated under the name Genesis Advanced Technologies. Product development and assembly take place in Seattle, United States. The brand is known for the use of dipole configurations in loudspeaker systems and the use of servo-controlled low-frequency technologies. Genesis’ designs are closely tied to principles previously applied within Infinity Systems. Techniques include the use of ribbon tweeters and the integration of active subwoofers with external crossovers.
