This integrated amplifier system uses class AD amplification with GaN FET technology, resulting in efficient and accurate signal amplification. It features a wide frequency range from 20 Hz to 50 kHz, making it capable of reproducing both bass and treble with precision. With an output of 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 400 watts at 4 ohms, it provides enough power for a variety of speakers. The built-in phono preamp supports both MM and MC cartridges, providing flexibility for vinyl record playback. There is also an integrated active crossover, which allows bi-amping for improved separation between high and low frequencies. The design includes analog VU meters for a visual display of output level and a volume control with precision settings. The construction is made with high-quality materials, contributing to durability and performance. This amplifier system is designed to provide accurate and detailed reproduction of music, with attention to both technical specifications and ease of use.
Designed by former Samsung chief engineer J.H. Lee, the Hifi Rose RA180 combines retro design with state-of-the-art engineering. The RA180 uses a hybrid class AD amplifier circuit with GaN FET transistors inspired by military and aerospace technology. The enclosure is made of rugged aluminum, CNC-machined for optimal resonance damping. Internal components are premium quality, with separate power supplies and modular construction for low-noise performance.
Hifi Rose is a brand of South Korean company Citech Co., Ltd. which has been dedicated to developing high-quality audio components in the network streamer and all-in-one player category since 2017. The brand uses proprietary hardware and software platforms, including the ROSE OS operating system based on Android. Hifi Rose's devices use an LCD touchscreen integrated across the full width of the front panel. In doing so, the brand supports popular streaming services such as TIDAL, Qobuz and Apple Music. Musical playback is via both analog and digital outputs, depending on the model. Local storage is possible via internal storage spaces or external USB and MicroSD interfaces. The devices can additionally function as CD-rippers when connected to an external CD-ROM drive. Music playback is compatible with formats up to and including DSD512 and PCM 32-bit/768 kHz.
