The TEAC VRDS-701 is a versatile CD player equipped with a specially developed VRDS mechanism. This mechanism reduces vibration during playback by firmly clamping the CD to an aluminum turntable of the same diameter, ensuring stable rotation and accurate disc readout.
Designed for the professional market, the TEAC CD-701 combines TEAC’s well-known VRDS technology with high-quality components. The design team focused on ultimate sound quality and durability. The housing is metal with an internal aluminum chassis for stability. DACs used are dual mono AK4493SEQ, with separate power supplies per channel. Everything is focused on minimal jitter and maximum precision.
