General description

Music streaming in high resolution up to DSD512 and PCM 384 kHz can be done either wired via Gigabit Ethernet or wirelessly via Tri-Band WiFi. Support for AIFF, ALAC, APE, DIFF, DSF, FLAC, OGG, WAV and WV provides ample flexibility in file formats. Digital outputs such as AES/EBU, coaxial and Toslink, plus a USB host for compatible DACs, allow for a variety of connections. Streaming services such as Amazon Music Unlimited, Qobuz, TIDAL Connect and Spotify Connect are supported, in addition to Internet radio and AirPlay 2. Control is via the Lightning DS app for iOS, a Web browser or OpenHome-compatible software, and it is deployable as a RoonReady endpoint. At 34 cm wide, 32 cm deep and 8 cm high, it weighs 7.4 kg.

The AURALiC VEGA G1.1 is designed with the same philosophy as AURALiC’s high-end models: uncompromising digital reproduction. Drawing on their background in physics and engineering, the design team works from the belief that digital music should sound rich and natural. The enclosure is made of black anodized aluminum, with an internal design that utilizes AURALiC’s Tesla hardware platform. This provides computing power for advanced DSP, upsampling and jitter reduction. The DAC operates with a femto clock and supports resolutions up to 32bit/384kHz and DSD512.
