Description
The preamp section uses two 6SL7 and two 6SN7 tubes, while the power amp uses four KT88 or 6550EH tubes in an AB1 push-pull configuration. The CS-88A offers the ability to switch between triode and ultralinear mode, allowing you to adjust the sound to your personal preference.
For vinyl lovers, there is an integrated MM phono input, making it easy to connect a record player. In addition, the amplifier features two line inputs for other analog sources and a pre-in input, so you can also use the CS-88A as a power amplifier.
The external bias meter on the top of the amp makes it easy to check and adjust bias settings, helping to extend tube life. The external tube selector switch on the rear panel allows you to easily switch between EL34 and KT88 tubes, depending on your preference.
The CS-88A is equipped with a remote control and an approximately 30-second soft-start function. The amplifier remembers the last settings after turning off, so you can immediately continue listening where you left off.
With a high-quality Japanese ALPS motor potentiometer and thick silver-plated signal cables, the CS-88A is designed with attention to detail. The easy-to-install tube cover provides additional protection and safety.
