Description
Lindemann comes by here with some regularity. The line with the small cabinets makes some wonder but large “empty” cabinets are usually fine. It’s a design choice. Lindemann’s sound is fresh, with perfectly balanced reproduction across the frequency range, a wide range of textures and nuances. And we are certainly not unsubtle in that.
The Lindemann Musicbook 20DSD is a versatile network player and preamplifier that combines digital and analog sources.
An intuitive app for iOS and Android makes it easy to control your music collection and streaming services.
The Musicbook 20DSD is designed with attention to detail and ease of use, making it a valuable addition for any music lover.
The Lindemann Musicbook 20DSD is designed according to the philosophy of minimalist design and maximum sound quality. The German design team focuses on short signal paths and high-quality components. The housing is solid aluminum for optimal shielding and cooling. Internally, Lindemann uses a high-end DSD converter and carefully selected components from Europe and Japan, among others, focused on high-res audio.
Lindemann was founded in the 1990s and in 1993 introduced the AMP1, an amplifier with ultrafast current counter-coupling. In 1999, the company launched the CD1, one of the first CD players with re-sampling. In 2001, Lindemann released the D680, Germany’s first SACD player. In 2013, the company introduced the Musicbook series, focusing on networked audio. In 2018, Lindemann celebrated its 25th anniversary and released several new products. In 2020, the second generation of the Limetree series was launched.
