Description

Description Freakuence!
Yes, top-tier. You’re dealing with the absolute best Linn has to offer here. Two high-quality cabinets equipped with (calibrated!) drivers, ensuring there are no detectable timing errors. The drivers are equipped with their own amplifiers and their own Organik DACs… all perfectly tuned to each other. The soundstage is overwhelming, the depth of the sound image is impressive, and the bass is indescribably accurate. You hear everything—and I mean absolutely everything… even the microdetails. Not harsh or sharp, but rounded yet exceptionally fast (that’s part of that timing). You’ll need an Exakt hub or DSM to go with it (which we can, of course, provide).
Details
We may have the Linn Klimax DSM System Hub with the Utopik power supply or other Linn DSM models in stock. Feel free to ask about them!
General description
The Linn Klimax Exakt 350 Organik is a high-end loudspeaker that sets the bar high for stereo imaging and detail in audio reproduction. The Linn Klimax Exakt 350 Organik combines refined construction with precision signal processing to create a soundstage in which every nuance of the music becomes audible. Thanks to the Organik version, you’ll experience warmth in the sound without sacrificing finesse, allowing vocals, instruments, and a sense of space to shine.
With the Linn Klimax Exakt 350 Organik, the listener experiences a reproduction that exudes dynamism; attack and decay alternate seamlessly, making the silence just as impressive as the loudest moment. This speaker module reveals details you rarely notice until you hear them—pure frequencies, subtle resonances, and spatial cues become palpable. In terms of power, precision, and balance, the Linn Klimax Exakt 350 Organik stands out as the benchmark for those seeking a natural sound without compromising on nuance.
If you’d like to compare the Linn Klimax Exakt 350 Organik with other top brands or different speakers to find the best match for your listening room, we invite you to schedule a listening session. In 1986, Linn released the Troika cartridge, which provided improved signal reproduction. In the 1990s, Linn expanded its offerings to include digital products, such as the Karik/Numerik CD player, and launched the Knekt multiroom system in 1994. Linn builds almost everything in-house. Reviews & awards | Linn Klimax Exakt 350 Organik

HiFi+ (Alan Sircom)

: An in-depth review concludes that the Klimax 350 speakers, when paired with the full Exakt and Katalyst setup, are “a total revelation”—better than just the Klimax DS/DSM with Katalyst. The addition of Katalyst DAC architecture to the speakers enhances the insight into music, particularly in terms of finesse and precision.

PHILE WEB (Tadashi Yamanouchi)

: The review of the KLIMAX EXAKT 350/1 clearly describes the effect of the upgrade to Katalyst: with classical music, the soundstage feels 3–5 rows closer; with jazz, it feels as if the musicians are moving a few steps closer. The variety of tonal detail, microdynamics, and clarity in vocals and string instruments have improved significantly, with little distortion or blurring of sounds.

What Hi-Fi? (Becky Roberts / What Hi-Fi? team)

: The introduction of the Organik DAC upgrade (available for Klimax 350 speakers) underscores that this upgrade offers improved digital-to-analog conversion, support for high resolutions (DSD256, 24-bit/384kHz), and greater precision in clocking and power supply. It is expected to make “a significant sonic difference” in existing Klimax components.

Martin Colloms (HiFiCritic)

: In his review of the original Klimax Exakt 350 (without Organik), he describes the sound as exceptionally clean, with extraordinarily low jitter and good synchronization between the six drivers per speaker. The active, digital crossover design delivers realistic dynamics and detail, which, in his view, justifies the high price (approximately £50,000 at the time).

Actives-Hören Forum Experience (user experience, but in-depth with technical comparisons, so semi-professional insight)

: A listener who was able to experience his Klimax speakers with Exakt, Katalyst, and Organik reports that Organik adds a level of coherence and harmony that makes listening much more enjoyable, with a smoother midrange and better integration between frequencies. Furthermore, it’s possible to listen at higher volumes without the high frequencies becoming fatiguing.

CD

The Compact Disc (CD), like most inventions, did not appear out of thin air. After the invention of the laser in 1958, the first patent for optically readable disks was filed in 1961. The first digital video records were introduced in 1972. After a flop by Philips, the manufacturer, together with Sony, released the first CD in 1979. We do not know what it contained, but in 1982 the first CD was released for the market, it was the album Visitors by ABBA. In this year the first player became available and so began the elimination of the LP from the market. Many have literally thrown their LPs in the trash… we still see some visitors being disappointed when they tell us this. Velen hebben hun lp’s letterlijk bij het vuil gezet… sommige bezoekers zien wij nog steeds balen als ze dit vertellen.
