NuForce was founded in 2005 in Milpitas, Calif. The brand originally developed digital audio products, including digital amplifiers and DACs. From the beginning, NuForce focused on designing products for consumers and professionals. In 2014, NuForce was acquired by Optoma, after which the brand began focusing on the production of compact audio solutions, particularly in the category of headphones and wireless earbuds. Following the acquisition, specific product lines from NuForce were integrated into Optoma’s broader consumer electronics portfolio. Well-known product series under the NuForce brand name include the BE series of wireless earbuds. The development, marketing and distribution of NuForce products have since been the responsibility of Optoma.
