Reviews & awards | PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP

The Absolute Sound

rates the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP as an excellent choice for tube amplifier enthusiasts. The amplifier features a creative and well-thought-out design, exceptional build quality, and an elegant appearance. The sound quality clearly exceeds its reasonable price. The reviewer emphasizes that one shouldn’t wonder how this is possible, but should simply enjoy the music.

Dagogo

writes that the reviewer was looking for a reference amplifier and that the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP came along at just the right time. The amplifier is praised for its performance, and the reviewer concludes by noting that the check is on its way.

Stereophile

emphasizes that the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP integrated amplifier offers sound quality that comes very close to that of combinations of reference-class Class A preamplifiers and power amplifiers. The amplifier is considered a major step forward in amplifier performance and offers excellent value. With this amplifier, PrimaLuna has once again created a winner.

Hi-Fi World

notes that the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP follows the beat superbly, with a pleasant sense of rhythm in the sound. The amplifier offers users the choice of using their favorite tubes in triode or ultralinear mode, which can be easily switched using the remote control. The amplifier excels at highlighting details in recordings and delivers a rich, refined sound that envelops the listener.

HiFi Pig

emphasizes that the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP, with its standard EL34 tubes, delivers a full and powerful bass sound with ease. When switching to KT120 tubes, the definition of the high frequencies improves significantly, resulting in a silky-smooth and refined sound. The bass becomes tighter while retaining its power, especially in triode mode, resulting in a balanced and natural sound.

Dagogo

emphasizes that the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP is equipped with massive hand-wound transformers and a soft-start circuit to prevent initial power surges when turning on the unit. The design minimizes the apprehension associated with owning tube equipment by significantly reducing the likelihood of major problems. The amplifier offers excellent build quality and is designed to operate as trouble-free as possible.

CD

The Compact Disc (CD), like most inventions, did not appear out of thin air. After the invention of the laser in 1958, the first patent for optically readable disks was filed in 1961. The first digital video records were introduced in 1972. After a flop by Philips, the manufacturer, together with Sony, released the first CD in 1979. We do not know what it contained, but in 1982 the first CD was released for the market, it was the album Visitors by ABBA. In this year the first player became available and so began the elimination of the LP from the market. Many have literally thrown their LPs in the trash… we still see some visitors being disappointed when they tell us this. Velen hebben hun lp’s letterlijk bij het vuil gezet… sommige bezoekers zien wij nog steeds balen als ze dit vertellen.
