The Rotel RA-1592 MKII was developed by Rotel’s in-house design team in Japan, with more than 60 years of experience in analog audio technology. The chassis is robustly built for optimum performance and protection against interference.
Rotel was officially founded in 1961 and established as a family business in Japan. Development and production have always been managed internally, especially core components such as toroidal transformers that are essential for quality power. In 1981, Rotel began a long-term partnership with Bowers & Wilkins, leading to exclusive distribution in North America and several European markets. This relationship resulted in 2006 in a joint venture with shared manufacturing and logistics facilities in Zhuhai, China.
