Hermes, the god who invented the lyre…. then this amplifier should be able to touch sensitive strings. We invite you to a critical listening session without fuss. Equipped with USB dac.

 

General description

 

The Tsakiridis Hermes is an integrated tube amplifier known for its warm and detailed sound reproduction. With a dual push-pull configuration and four EL84 tubes per channel, it delivers solid output power. The amplifier features three line inputs and a USB input, providing flexibility for a variety of audio sources. A convenient remote control makes it easy to control volume and input selection. In addition, a headphone jack is provided for personal listening sessions. The Hermes is equipped with handcrafted multilayer output transformers, adding to reliability and sound quality. The design is thoughtful, with an automatic power-on sequence and attenuation to prevent unwanted noises at power-on. A built-in illuminated milliamp meter allows monitoring of the quiescent current of the power tubes per channel. The Hermes Ultima variant offers additional upgrades, such as Mundorf Evo Silver Gold Oil signal capacitors and 16-layer output transformers, for an even more refined listening experience. With its combination of classic tube technology and practical features, the Tsakiridis Hermes is an attractive choice for lovers of high-quality audio playback.

 

Brand history

 

Tsakiridis Devices is a company founded in 1987 by the Tsakiridis brothers in Athens, Greece. Since its founding, all products are built by hand in its own workshop. Production includes amplifiers, power amplifiers, preamplifiers, tube equipment and power supplies. All components are manufactured locally or imported from selected countries. Assembly, quality control and finishing take place within one location. The components used in the products are sourced from approved manufacturers. Tsakiridis Devices operates in multiple countries through distributors and dealers. Product lines include models such as Apollon, Hermes, Alexander, Theseus and others, each focused on specific functions within audio systems. Device enclosures are manufactured with attention to mechanical stability and shielding. The company provides service and support for both new and previously released models with availability of replacement parts.

De Compact Disc (CD) kwam zoals de meeste uitvindingen niet uit de lucht vallen. Na de uitvinding van de laser in 1958 werd in 1961 het eerste octrooi voor optisch leesbare schijven ingediend. In 1972 werden de eerste digitale videoplaten geïntroduceerd. Na een flop van Philips kwam de fabrikant in 1979 samen met Sony met de eerste cd, wat erop stond weten wij niet maar in 1982 kwam de eerste cd voor de markt uit, het was het album Visitors van ABBA. In dit jaar kwam de eerste speler beschikbaar en zo begon de verdrijving van de lp uit de markt. Velen hebben hun lp’s letterlijk bij het vuil gezet… sommige bezoekers zien wij nog steeds balen als ze dit vertellen. Heb je cd’s, geniet er vooral nog eens van, ze hebben immers geen oneindige levensduur.

The Compact Disc (CD), like most inventions, did not appear out of thin air. After the invention of the laser in 1958, the first patent for optically readable disks was filed in 1961. The first digital video records were introduced in 1972. After a flop by Philips, the manufacturer, together with Sony, released the first CD in 1979. We do not know what it contained, but in 1982 the first CD was released for the market, it was the album Visitors by ABBA. In this year the first player became available and so began the elimination of the LP from the market. Many have literally thrown their LPs in the trash… we still see some visitors being disappointed when they tell us this.
