The Audiolab 6000A Play is an integrated amplifier with a built-in network streamer, designed to deliver high-quality sound reproduction. This device combines the functionality of the Audiolab 6000A amplifier with that of the 6000N Play streamer, allowing you to connect both analog and digital sources and stream music wirelessly.
Thanks to the integration of DTS Play-Fi technology, the Audiolab 6000A Play supports high-resolution wireless audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz. This allows you to easily stream music from various services such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, and Qobuz. In addition, the amplifier features multiple analog and digital inputs, including a phono input for turntables, so you can connect a variety of audio sources.

The Audiolab 6000A Play is a versatile integrated amplifier that delivers high-end digital and analog sound. The design team, led by Nick Clarke, focuses on precision and ease of use. The chassis is made of sturdy metal to minimize resonance. High-quality components, such as ES9018 DACs, are used to ensure clean signal processing. The internal wiring has been carefully routed to ensure optimal signal integrity. Audiolab sources locally obtained materials whenever possible, with a strong emphasis on sustainable manufacturing methods.
Audiolab was founded in 1983 by Philip Swift and Derek Scotland. Their first product was the 8000A integrated amplifier, followed by the 8000C preamplifier, the 8000P power amplifier and the 8000M monoblocks. In 1998, TAG McLaren acquired the company and renamed it TAG McLaren Audio. After economic setbacks in the early 2000s, the audio division was sold to the International Audio Group (IAG) in 2004. In 2005, Audiolab introduced an entirely new product line.
