Studio requirements? The DNC provides completely neutral playback, barely any coloration, with a detailed and precise reproduction of the audio signal. Transparency. The internal construction, with strict separation between digital and analog sections and the absence of capacitors in the signal path, ensures this.

This device acts as a versatile network client and D/A converter designed for playback of digital music sources. It supports high-resolution streaming of Internet radio, podcasts and music services such as TIDAL, Qobuz and Deezer. File formats such as WAV, FLAC, ALAC and AIFF are supported up to 192 kHz/24-bit. The digital section features nine inputs, including WLAN, LAN, USB and S/PDIF, while the analog outputs offer both gold-plated RCA and XLR connectors. A parametric equalizer with five Minimum Phase Equalizers per channel and an adjustable delay manager allow for precise adjustments. Internal signal processing uses asynchronous upsampling to 192 kHz/24-bit and a precision clock generator to eliminate jitter. The analog section features a 50 VA toroidal transformer and a total filter capacity of 44,000 µF, with separate power supplies for digital and analog circuits. Dimensions are 430 mm wide, 70 mm high and 310 mm deep, weighing 8 kg.
Streaming formats: WAV (up to 192 kHz/24-bit), FLAC (up to 192 kHz/24-bit), ALAC (up to 96 kHz/24-bit), AIFF (up to 192 kHz/24-bit), MP3, AAC, WMA, OGG Vorbis.
Digital inputs: 2x coaxial (S/PDIF), 2x optical (TosLink), 1x AES/EBU (XLR), 1x USB-A, 1x USB-B (USB Audio), 1x LAN (RJ45), Wi-Fi antenna.
Analog outputs: 1 pair of RCA (gold-plated), 1 pair of XLR (gold-plated).
Equalizer: 5 Minimum Phase Equalizers (MPE) per channel; adjustable filter types, frequency, gain, and Q-factor.
Delay Manager: Adjustable for listening distances from 0 m to 7 m; automatic calculation of delay times.
D/A conversion: Asynchronous upsampling to 192 kHz/24-bit; precision clock generator to eliminate jitter.

Audionet DNC is designed with precision and high-quality engineering at its core. The design philosophy focuses on delivering exceptional sound quality with minimal interference. The enclosure is made of rugged aluminum for optimal resonance control. Internen measurements are wired with hand-sewn LC audio filter specifications for best signal integrity. The circuits, designed by Thomas Gessler and Jurgen Reiss, use patented techniques for accurate digital and analog sound reproduction. All components are made in Germany and carefully selected for performance.
Audionet was founded in 1994 by a team of scientists and engineers with experience in automotive and medical metrology. The brand is known for its preamplifiers, power amplifiers, CD players and network players. Audionet has its own studios in Hamburg, Kamen and Berlin.
