Reviews & awards | KEF LS Luxe Floor Stand

Darko.Audio —

This review refers to the KEF LS LUXE as “an egg-shaped streaming standmount” designed by Ross Lovegrove, and explicitly compares it to the LS50 Wireless II and LS60 Wireless. They praise the clarity of the vocals and the fine transient response, as heard in Nick Drake and “The Build Up” by Kings of Convenience, using words like “crisp” for the high frequencies and “sumptuous” for the vocal harmonies.

AudioMatome —

The reviewer notes genuine technical advancements (VECO feedback, current drive) and a beautiful sound, but also points out that you’re paying a hefty premium for form over function. They note that the software and connectivity options still need some refinement.

What Hi-Fi? —

After a two-week testing period, the LS LUXE is praised as “one of the finest” active wireless systems. The special S-Luxe stands are said to “make performance soar to new heights across practically every area of sonic performance,” and although the set comes at a price, investing in these stands is strongly recommended to unlock its full potential.

TechRadar —

describes the LS LUXE as “one of the very best wireless stereo speaker systems you can currently buy,” provided you appreciate its visual appeal and understand the need for precise placement. They praise the neutrality of the tonal response; the authority in the bass; and find the design attractive and the build quality high.

HiFi.BLOG —

appreciates the optional S-Luxe Floor Stand for its isolation, height, and stability. They note that the LS LUXE is already impressive without stands, but that these optional stands give the sound added transparency and coherence, especially at lower frequencies.

Mark Ellis Reviews —

This review praises the LS LUXE for its exceptional acoustic performance—even at high volumes—and its striking design. However, it warns that the size and weight require careful planning; the price is high, and the cost of the stands significantly increases the total investment.

StereoNET —

notes that the LS LUXE comes equipped with a very comprehensive set of streaming features: high resolution, HDMI eARC, digital, and analog connections, subwoofer outputs, and good app control. The matching S-Luxe stands are recommended, partly because they neatly conceal cables and are an integral part of the setup.

We are having a great time with all the audio and we can share that feeling with most visitors. Yet sometimes there are companions who have no interest in it at all.
Audio can be stolen from them.
We also like to make those genes happy.
