Review-Rating.com
We rate the build quality of the SVS SB-2000 Pro as solid and purpose-built, with a Black Ash finish that holds up well against dust. The Piano Black Gloss finish is visually appealing but prone to fingerprints and scratches. The sealed enclosure offers placement flexibility without compromising sound quality, although in very large rooms, a single subwoofer may not be sufficient. At high volumes, the subwoofer maintains composure without distortion, but for intense bass experiences, ported designs may be more suitable. Installation is straightforward, but getting the most out of the DSP requires some effort. At extreme volumes in large rooms, a subtle harshness may occur in the low-midrange.
